Hi everyone ! I am Alex, not married, have no kids and unemployed at the moment. This life style gives me a bit of free time for writing stories, and I would love to share with you little story about my Road trip across half Russia from Krasnodar to Novosibirsk ! Feel free to post any comment or question…
Last year I lived in Krasnodar, it is one of the best Russian cities. Due to some personal reasons I had to move back to Novosibirsk. I have sort of cowboy lifestyle, so packing was not a big problem.
Early in morning I was on my way to Novosibirsk. About 5000km ( 3125ml) was ahead of me. Leaving Krasnodar.
Hell yeah !
First day was coming to the end, and I was lucky to get a beautiful Sunset..
Early morning of day 2, railway crossroad
Passing through some little village..
Little break on the bank of the Volga River
Going through the city of Volgograd
I stopped at the Lenta retail chain to buy some food..
If you ever will come to Volgograd visit Mamaev Kurgan. Memorial dedicated to the heroes who fought in the world war 2.
Kiosk with souvenirs
Apparently kids like these things..
Memorial itself, the monument is huge
Russian orthodox church
City view from the memorial
Other than to see memorial there is nothing else to see in Volgograd…
So I left
Russia is a gigantic country, most of my trip was along of farmers fields or just fields..
Met cows by some local village
I stoped at the Lukoil gas stations
That is the kind of restroom that they have got..
Stopped at some road shops and services..
This is a different kind of restroom… outside one.. I wonder if people from Lukoil are proud of this..
Going through the Ufa city
Somewhere by the Kurgan city, stopped at the restaurant Zauralksi Tract, turned out to be a nice place!
I guess I like this one the most… Really authentic… Restroom at the Rosneft gas station.
Restroom – Siberian style, NovosibirskNefteproduct gas station
Almost there, 30 miles till Novosibirsk
